Your MSB Registration will be accepted with the expectation that your child intends to play with our club. Our refund policy is as follows: If you have submitted a Registration, you may withdraw the application before the start of the evaluation period for a full refund (minus a $100.00 administration fee). After the evaluation period has started, you will NOT be eligible for a refund. *Exceptions will be made for season-ending injuries only* (amount will be pro-rated on length of remaining season)

All players from U11 to U18 require a valid CMSA Photo ID card (with an expiry date on it.) The referee may ask that these cards be handed in individually to the referee at the start of the game. If a player does not have their Player Card, that Player will not be allowed to participate in the game.
All Team Officials for U9 to U18 teams requires a valid CMSA Photo ID and all require a Canadian Police Information Clearance (CPIC) and completed the Respect in Soccer Program to be placed on a roster.


All registered U10 players playing-up on an older team in a league game require a restricted movement pass, signed by one of their team officials or Club Board of Directors. This pass is to be given to the team the player is playing-up with. The pass, along with the game sheet is to be submitted to the Referee. Blank copies of the restricted movement pass can be downloaded from the CMSA website in the documents section.


All Player Photo ID cards are valid for 4 years from the date of issue. All team official Photo ID cards are valid for 3 years. Upon expiry, Cards will be revalidated and re-issued at no cost to the Player / Team Official, should they still require a valid CMSA Photo ID card and as long as the old card is handed in at the time of revalidation.


If a coach cannot make a game for any reason, they may give their team official card to a responsible adult for presentation to the referee if no other team officials will be present at the game. In the event that none of the Team Officials for a specific team show up to a game with a valid ID card, one Team Official will be allowed to remain on the bench (and a bench Parent if required) and the game will be played. The Referee will note that no cards were presented on the game sheet.


The ID cards are property of CMSA and must be given back to the Member at the end of each season or when requested by CMSA. The cost for the card is $10 (cash or cheque only) unless turning in an old or expired card, which then the card will replaced for free.


Any player found using more than one-(1), player ID card shall be suspended from all soccer activity until a CMSA Discipline hearing is held.


If you have lost your player ID card, you can contact the CMSA office to have the card reprinted. A $10 fee will be charged for this. (Requires your CMSA ID number to make an appointment)

Micro-SOCCER:
U4 players are placed on teams randomly. U4 teams are mixed. Each player will receive a shirt, shorts and socks. Shin guards are not provided but mandatory. If there are less than 4 teams, parents will have an option request a refund or incorporate into the U6 program. Parents are expected to be in attendance during practices/games.

U6 Micro-Soccer is an introduction to soccer for kids geared to giving them lots of chances to touch the ball.

This program is coach/parent refereed.

Gender Split:
We split the boys & girls at U7 because by this age the majority of the boys are much more aggressive than the girls which has been seen in the play. Therefore, during these games the vast majority of ball touches are from the boys, which leaves the girls with minimal opportunity to develop their skills.

Players have more fun if they have a greater opportunity to be directly involved in the play. Therefore we have migrated to this to keep more of our girls playing soccer by giving them more opportunities to be involved in the play and getting more ball touches during the game. More ball touches + more confidence + more fun = more confidence & fun resulting in a greater likelihood to stay in soccer. 

Coaching:

Technical Training
We want MSB Players to be competitive and successful! Therefore, we require players in our higher Tier teams to attend our Technical Training program to aid in their individual skills development.


*Tech fees will not be charged until after CMSA rosters have been finalized.

Tier I, II & III - Mandatory
$225 in addition to base fees
Includes 13, 1.5 hour sessions

Tier IV & V - Optional
$225 in addition to base fees
Includes 13, 1.5 hour sessions

Refunds


Your MSB Registration will be accepted with the expectation that your child intends to play with our club. Our refund policy is as follows: If you have submitted a registration, you may withdraw the application before the start of the evaluation period for a full refund (minus a $100.00 administration fee).

NO REFUNDS will be issued once the evaluation period has started. (Team tryouts)

*Exceptions will be made for season-ending injuries only* (amount will be pro-rated on length of remaining season)

Volunteering


MSB United Soccer Club is run mainly by our outstanding volunteers! We need help from our soccer families with a number of activities. When registering, a $100 volunteer fee will be applied to your registration fee.

You will be asked to select your preferred volunteer position. There are many different volunteer opportunities available to choose from. (Check out our Volunteer Page for descriptions) and we will do our best to accommodate your request.


At the end of the season you may be refunded the $100 fee for completing approved volunteer hours.

If you do not wish to volunteer, simply select "I do not wish to volunteer."

Jersey Fee

$75 fee will be charged in the event that the MSB jersey is not returned at the end of the season.

MSB United Soccer Club believes that every child should have the opportunity to play.

Do you need help with funding for your child's registration fees? Both Kidsport and Jumpstart are here to help keep kids in the game.  They do not apply the funding to technical training fees, but MSB has payment plans to help you out.  Contact Us to find out more.

ADULT SOCCER

Must be at least 16 years of age to participate

Men's CUSA Division 6 | Women's CWSA Division 3

Play Dates
League scheduled games - Approx 18(Various days)
Early season practices

Players on roster must be at least 16.
Players on CMSA teams require play up forms even at the age of 18.
Players can be registered with both CMSA and CWSA.
Maximum of 2 play ups for players in CMSA that have reached the age of 16.

New players are required to buy a personal jersey for $30

Outdoor Season 2020: May-October

Fees: $250.00

Class Limit: Max 26 players

Notes:
Only teams which are members of the C.U.S.A./C.W.S.A, shall be eligible to enter C.U.S.A./C.W.S.A League and Cup competitions.

New players MUST go to the C.U.S.A./C.W.S.A office with government ID and $10 to obtain players card.

Refund Policy: No refunds after team is registered with CUSA/CWSA. Team registration is May 2020 for Outdoor.

Limited positions available. Any player not making the roster after tryouts will be refunded.
